Mr. Arthur C. Cheney was the original owner of the house. He owned the A.C. Cheney Piano Action Company. He was most prominent from 1911-1928. He had 7 kids a baseball team and a wife.
There were two other owner to the home. The Shaw's and the Lendy's. We have no information on those two families. But we do have some on who we think was Mrs. Lendy. We think she went back to her maiden name Mrs. Louis Nelson. She died of a heart attack. The bathtub was running and when she died it overflowed and flooded one side of the house. There is also the current owners are, the Scandurra's! We have info on them in the tab, A.C. Cheney House!
